By now, you’ve probably heard about the iOS 6.3 beta release of the Apple Music app.
You might have also heard about iOS 7.0, which brings improvements to the app and its various features.
But if you’re not an Apple Music user, it’s probably safe to assume that iOS 7 will be a very busy period for you, and you’ll be able to download all of the new features with no need to pay anything at all.
The new features in iOS 7 include an enhanced Siri search, a better photo editing experience, a new feature to automatically hide ads from the app, and even more.
If you’re still on the fence about whether to upgrade to iOS 7 or iOS 6, here’s our guide to deciding which apps are worth downloading.
iOS 7: the new stuff Before you jump into the new iOS 7 features, let’s take a closer look at some of the more popular iOS 7 apps that are currently free to try out.
The best iOS 7 music apps Apple Music is the newest of the iOS 7 free music apps, and it’s not the only one.
While some of these are more recent additions, others are old favorites that you can still download for free.
iOS 6: the free music The free music app from Apple Music has been around for years, but it has only been available for iPhone for the past few months.
You can download the app for free on Apple Music, though you’ll need to have an iOS device to do so.
If your iPhone doesn’t have an Internet connection, you’ll also need to use a paid account on an Apple device to download the music.
iOS 5: the paid music If you’ve been following the iOS Music story closely, you probably already know that Apple Music requires an iOS account to use it.
However, Apple has released a free version of the app in the past, but that version no longer supports iOS 5.
Apple Music for iOS 6 has been updated to include new features like Apple Music Premium, which allows users to buy subscriptions for a monthly fee, and its subscription-based streaming service, Music Unlimited, which offers users a monthly package with the option to pay $7.99 per month.
iOS 4: the full-fledged music app Apple Music isn’t the only app with a full-blown music app, but if you haven’t tried one yet, you’re missing out.
While there are plenty of other music apps out there, you can download iOS 4 for free from the App Store, and while you can use the free version to listen to music on your iPhone, the paid version will offer a full Spotify experience.
iOS 3: the original music app With the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, the only way to listen offline was through an iPhone’s cellular data connection, and Apple Music wasn’t available to download on those devices either.
With iOS 3, Apple added a free option to listen through an iOS 3 device’s cellular connection, but users would have to pay for the option with their iOS device’s credit card.
iOS 2: the music streaming app This is where Apple Music really started to catch on, and now it’s the only music streaming service that works across all iPhone and iPad models.
The company has released iOS 2, which comes with an extensive list of music streaming options, including Spotify, Pandora, and more.
You’ll need an iOS 2 device to use this app.
iOS 1: the old music app The iPhone music app didn’t come out until iOS 1, and before that, users would only have access to music via Apple Music.
iOS’s music streaming experience was really only available through iTunes, and iOS 1 didn’t add many new features to help users find the right music.
Apple also added the ability to save songs from the iOS music library to a cloud service, and there’s even a new option for sharing albums and songs across your social networks.
iOS 0: the first free iOS music app There’s no denying that iOS 0 was the first iPhone music service to come out.
Users were able to get music from iTunes on their devices and even share their music with friends on the web, but Apple never added much functionality to make music streaming on iPhones a viable option.
iOS has since added many new songs, and with the introduction of iCloud music storage and a new iTunes Music Store, iOS 1 is now the only iOS music service that can support sharing songs across devices.
iOS will continue to add new music features as time goes on, but we’re still a ways away from a free iOS Music app, so we recommend checking out the rest of the free iOS apps that we’ve listed below.
iOS Music: the big new stuff In the past year, the company has made significant progress with iOS Music.
It has improved its music catalog, and has introduced new features and music-related features to the App store.
For iOS 6 users, the first major
